Why are you opening a c++ file like an Excel file? When I run it from a self extracting executable, it errors out with Line 5, 1 -file not found, 800a0035, ms vbscript runtime error. If file formats have red text, it means there is another rule higher on the list that will be the one used automatically instead. line 5 is: Set objFile = objFSO.OpenTextFile("C:\WINDOWS\system32\inetsrv\MetaBase.xml", ForReading) C:\WINDOWS\system32\inetsrv\MetaBase.xml does exist and if I pause the execution and manually run it while it is paused -it works!!!!!!!!
