The conversion fails immediately with the error 'fault.RestrictedVersion.summary" we are running the free version of ESXi and my suspicion is that the paid version is required for this though I haven't It helpt me alot! SSH should now be active; test from another machine. However,VB&R Free Edition 6.5 does support paid VMWare ESX(i) 5.1 and all other versions previously supported by 6.1.

We should be able to get some info off of ESXi boxes.
