Then, I decide to just buy a new hard drive, install windows on that, and then set my old hard drive with all my data on it as slave and copy I'll worry about it later. The laptop the HDD came out of had a copy of XP Pro on it when I began, but gave me BSOD before Windows began to load.

It turned out the BIOS was running the PC100 memory at 133Mhz...
